Apple’s OS X 10.6 “Snow Leopard” has been updated to version 10.6.3 for Intel Macs.

This is a major update to the OS for your Mac including fixes and updates in several categories such as: File and Print services, iCal and Mail, Time Machine, Mobile Accounts, AirPort wireless networks, plus several general fixes and improvements.

As with most updates, we recommend that you ensure you’ve got a good backup of your Mac before installing using either Time Machine, cloning software like SuperDuper!, or both.

Though OS X 10.6.3 is available via Software Update, we’ve found that upgrades from one point release to another can be more reliable when using the manually downloaded, Combo updater.  The stand-alone Combo updaters are also an excellent way to upgrade multiple Macs in the same office with only one download.
